Hong Kong DIY Trip Part 4 - Ocean Park

It was a gloomy morning, but we braved the drizzle to see what was in store for us at Hong Kong’s Ocean Park.

How to Get There?

From Golden Crown, ride the MTR at Tsim Sha Tsui station to Admiralty. Locate Exit B and hop on City Bus 629, which will bring you directly to Ocean Park.

Park Tickets

I purchased our tickets ahead of time from Ken of Golden Crown with a discounted rate, so no need to queue at the ticketing booth.

Check out the Ocean Park website for an updated ticket prices.

At the Park

Be sure to grab a map at the entrance of Ocean Park’s for easier navigation of the theme park (Chinese or English, whichever your preference is).

First on our agenda was to visit the Great Oceanarium. Honestly, I was quite disappointed with the giant aquarium; I was expecting a bigger one. Nevertheless, there are a lot of sea creatures that you may look at.

The next thing we did was to visit the Pandas. An-an was the only one we saw, so we took advantage in taking photos.

Ocean Park is enormous; one whole day is not really enough to try out everything. It would be better to allot a whole day for this so that you don’t have to hurry from one point to another, plus you’ll get tired just going around the place.

I've been to Singapore Underwater World and the oceanarium area is just a small stretch. I'm not sure if same length siya with Manila Ocean Park or a little longer lang.
    take care always! :)
