Our second day in Vienna fell on my birthday, and what better way to celebrate than to visit a very lovely palace.

We booked a grand tour of the Schönbrunn Palace via the Imperial Austria website for EUR17.50 each (PHP1,100), which includes a tour of forty rooms of the palace.

Since our tour was at 11am, we had ample time to walk around and admire the garden beforehand.

The Schönbrunn Palace is the summer palace of Marie Antoinette, who later became Queen of France. She became infamous for her spending and because of a rumor that she told the peasants of France to “let them eat cake” in a time of famine.

After the tour, we decided to have lunch near the hotel and rest first before exploring more of the city.

I was not expecting much from Vienna before this trip, as I do not really know much about it, but I was surprised by how much I loved their laid-back lifestyle, and how hospitable their people are.

  1. I'm glad nag enjoy kayo sa Vienna. Ang romantic ng place at ang sweet sweet nyo sa photos. Inggit ako. Wala kaming ganyan hahaha.

We didn't got the chance to explore the Palace interiors, kasi wala na kaming time. Hanggang gardens lang kami.

    1. Haha thanks! Post nup pictorial kuno hahaha! Ayan may reason ka na ulit to go back. Gusto ko din masubukan kapag winter naman :)

Hey there! Thank you for visiting this little world of mine :)
